Unknown vehicle causes damage

Where an unknown vehicle causes damage, the only damage for which ABÍ can be liable is for personal injuryand/or for the loss of a provider, but not for damage to possessions. Where a vehicle collides with a stationary, unoccupied vehicle and where the perpetrator leaves the scene of such a collision, the owner of the stationary vehicle with which the vehicle collided, has no claim against ABÍ. The owner of the damaged vehicle could have a claim on his own insurance company if he has bought comprehensive insurance, but otherwise he will have to bear the cost of the damage himself.
