Uninsured vehicle causes damage

Where an uninsured vehicle causes damage and where the rules for involvement of ABÍ have been fulfilled then the party suffering the damage can make a claim against ABÍ for damage to both person and property. After ABÍ has settled such damage the owner of the vehicle and the driver, should he be other than the owner, are required to repay all costs incurred by ABÍ in settling the claim.
